How to Mockup a Web Page

Posted by admin on February 25th, 2010 and filed under web site designers | 14 Comments »

http://twitter.com/chrispirillo – Not long ago, I was talking to my friend Brent, who happens to be an amazing designer. I helped sponsor his PodCamp Arizona recently, and he wanted to do a favor for me in return. Knowing the quality of his work, I was all over this offer! I needed a single web page where people can go to read more about me, and go through a simple PayPal form to pay me to coach them. It would be like an on-demand consulting type of thing, for whatever type of help I can provide. However, I had trouble explaining to Brent what it was I wanted the page to look like. Thankfully, I was able to use mockingbird mockups to illustrate for me! http://chris.pirillo.com – http://geeks.pirillo.com

Graphic design is a field of artistic expression; the skills of a graphic designer provide a steadier income than other artistic fields. WebReDesignMiami.com::Miami Web Designer::Semantic Web 3.0 (Re)Design

Posted by admin on February 19th, 2010 and filed under web designer | No Comments »

WEB 3.0 *IS* WHAT’S NEXT…

The dawning of the Semantic Web brings with it a new wave of issues and opportunities for Internet marketing and ecommerce. The implications for business websites like yours are both pervasive and permanent: Aggressive optimization and appealing aesthetics will no longer be enough to assure web success or even online survival. Web pages–i.e. their underlying source, programming and stylesheets–must be “machine-friendly” underneath as well as “people-friendly” on the surface. Their format and behavior must be compatible with a broad range of devices and applications, just as their layout and content must be compelling to as many qualified prospects, clients and customers as possible. And websites whose resources do not comply with all W3C coding standards and WAI accessibility guidelines … or whose templates do not leverage tableless XHTML, CSS and Unobtrusive Javascript to separate content, format and behavior … will severely limit their traffic and conversion potentials.

Is *your* website ready for what’s next?

IF YOU HAVE A WEBSITE … that is out of date, out of style, out of compliance, low in the rankings, lacking traffic, losing converts, or not ready for what’s next, contact us today and schedule a free Web 3.0 marketing consultation with WebReDesignMiami.com.

IF YOU NEED A WEBSITE … speak with WebReDesignMiami.com before you waste time with a template or “express” site that delivers only disappointment … and certainly before you spend a fortune on SEM, Yellow Pages or PPC ads chasing clicks you could have for free!
