How much artistic talent is needed to design a professional website? I never learned to draw even a simple dog or cat and I want to design a great website that is very unique. If I pickup coding and learn all that stuff, do I need to learn drawing to create a A-Grade banner for my website or can I use other images from google images along with Photoshop to create a great banner?
At this website – http://www.pictures-of-cats.org/ , is the banner made out of already drawn images? I want to create a banner as spectacular as that… however I do not know how to draw. Am I better off hiring a person to make a banner and other things or should I learn to draw? I don’t think I would be suited for art… but what do you think?
Logical thinking (coding) requires a dominant left brain. Artistry requires a dominant right brain. If you’re really good at one you won’t be any good at the other. That’s why great websites are designed and coded by more than 1 person.
